User Agreement for Freelancers & Employers
Effective Date: January 1, 2025

This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions applicable to all freelancers and employers using Careerz.pk. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to comply with this User Agreement.

1. Definitions

“Employer” refers to any individual or organization posting jobs or hiring freelancers through Careerz.pk.
“Freelancer” refers to any individual offering services or applying for freelance jobs through Careerz.pk.
“Platform” refers to Careerz.pk and its services.

2. General Terms

All users must be 18 years or older or legally allowed to work in their jurisdiction.
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile, job listings, and communications.
Careerz.pk does not act as an agent, employer, or representative of either party.

3. Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

Provide clear, truthful, and legal job or service descriptions
Not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or nationality
Not offer unpaid or exploitative jobs
Pay freelancers fairly and on time (if directly agreed upon)
Respect privacy and personal data of freelancers

Employers are solely responsible for any employment contracts or payments outside the platform.

4. Freelancer Responsibilities

Freelancers agree to:

Provide honest, accurate profiles and portfolios
Deliver quality work in a timely manner
Maintain professionalism in all communications
Not engage in plagiarism, scams, or any illegal work
Comply with the client’s terms if mutually agreed

Freelancers are independent contractors and not employees of Careerz.pk.

5. Communication & Disputes

Careerz.pk is not involved in any direct communication, negotiation, or contract enforcement between freelancers and employers. All agreements are made directly between users.

In case of disputes:

Users are encouraged to resolve the matter respectfully
Careerz.pk may assist in basic mediation but is not liable for the outcome

6. Payments & Commissions

If the platform facilitates payments:

A platform service fee or commission may apply
All payment policies are outlined in the [Refund & Payment Policy]
Careerz.pk is not liable for off-platform payments or unpaid dues between users

7. Prohibited Activities

Both freelancers and employers agree not to:

Offer or accept illegal or unethical work
Share harmful, violent, or adult content
Harass or threaten other users
Circumvent the platform for fee avoidance
Violate copyright or intellectual property rights

8. Termination

Careerz.pk may suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate this agreement
Misuse the platform or harm other users
Are found to be fraudulent or abusive

Users may also delete their accounts at any time.

9. Legal Responsibility

All users are responsible for:

Their own taxes, invoicing, and compliance with employment or business laws in their country
Any third-party agreements they enter into outside of Careerz.pk

Careerz.pk provides a neutral platform and is not a party to any contractual obligations between users.
